I am thrilled to be a part of the Erie PK-8 team. My experiences teaching at Red Hawk in St. Vrain Valley Schools and in Westminster Public School District have taught me the importance of creating strong relationships to support a rigorous and engaging learning environment.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree at CU in Literacy Curriculum and Instruction. At Red Hawk, I worked with a wonderful team and had the privilege to help with the 100 Mile Club, Garden Club and set design for the school play. During the summer, I have enjoyed teaching classes at the Denver Art Museum and on the weekends I have had the opportunity to teach a robotics class in Boulder.

I grew up in Mill Valley, California, a small town near San Francisco and moved to Colorado for college. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with an Elementary Colorado Teaching License, majored in Studio Arts and minored in Art History. In my free time I like to ski, hike, go to museums and paint landscapes. I am thrilled to collaborate with the community and other educators to build a terrific, innovative school for next year.
