It is truly an honor to be part of the Soaring Heights community and a member of the 4th grade team!

My bachelor’s degree is in Political Science and German Language from Metropolitan State College of Denver.  Originally, I had hoped to go into law, however, I realized my true passion and heart belonged to teaching after interning in a Waldorf school in Germany.  I returned home and pursued my Master’s Degree Educational Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver and most recently, Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Denver.  What I most enjoy about teaching is the relationships I build with my students and families each year.  There is nothing more satisfying than watching my students grow and flourish in their academic and social/emotional development throughout the school year.  It’s so rewarding! Even better is when they come back the next year, or even years later and tell me how much they learned while being in my class.

My husband, Ari, daughter, Ava  and I live here in Erie. Ava will be a student at Soaring Heights as well!.  We love the Colorado outdoors lifestyle and you may see us enjoying our beautiful Erie community! If you do see us, don’t be a stranger and say hi! I look forward to teaching your children in the upcoming year.
