I am honored to be a part of the Soaring Heights PK-8 team! I am excited to teach third grade. Third grade is one of my favorite grades to teach and is where I found my love for education. I cannot wait to work closely with students, parents, and the wonderful staff at Soaring Heights! 

I was born and raised in Colorado. I obtained my Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University in Human Development and Family Studies. I then pursued my Colorado teaching license from Metropolitan State College of Denver. 

My family and I moved to Erie this past summer from Steamboat Springs, CO where I spent the last 16 years teaching. I taught third grade for twelve years and second grade for four years. My classroom learning environment promotes creativity, innovation, growth, and a strong sense of community. I have to say that eight and nine year olds are my favorite people to spend my day with!  

When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my two children, husband, and my yellow lab. We enjoy skiing, camping, fishing, and just being together.  

I am looking forward to partnering with you at Soaring Heights this year!
