Erie PK-8 is seeking public participation and engagement in the process to name the school, select a mascot and school colors. Beginning February 1, students, parents and community members will have the opportunity to submit their suggestions for the school name, mascot and colors. Those wishing to submit a suggestion can use the Name Submission Form that will be available on February 1.
Public submissions will be due by February 19. A committee comprised of community members, school administration and parents will select the top five names, mascots and colors. The top five selections will be presented for a public vote from February 28-March 7. The results of the vote will be shared with the Board of Education on March 14 where the Board will make the final decision.
