Bio: I am so excited to be joining the Innovation Team here at Soaring Heights! I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with B.A. in Elementary Education and just finished up my Masters Degree, also from UNC, in Technology, Innovation and Pedagogy. I have taught 3rd grade and Kindergarten, although I've worked with students in grades K-5. I was lucky to have found my passion teaching STEM Innovation early in my career and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to join this amazing team. I am a Colorado native, and a St Vrain graduate! I graduated from Mead High School, and I couldn't wait to return to the district as an educator. I hold a strong belief that education is not a "one size fit's all" approach and that each student brings their own brand of genius to the table. I am excited to be supporting students in their discovery of learning through making, problem-solving, and risk-taking. My hobbies and passions include: Netflix, reading, hiking, paddleboarding, my cats (Bean and Pico), family, Starbucks, and anything crafty.
