I'm so excited to be teaching Innovation at Soaring Heights PK-8.

I am a proud Colorado native and St. Vrain graduate! I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and later earned my Master’s degree—also from UNC—in Technology, Innovation, and Pedagogy. I began my teaching career in 2020 in 3rd grade, later taught Kindergarten, and in my third year, I was excited to join the Innovation Team here at SHPK-8. I now serve as the Innovation Coordinator, where I get to collaborate with my amazing team and empower students to explore, create, and think like designers.

I believe that education is not a "one-size-fits-all" experience, and that every student brings their own unique genius to the table. It’s a privilege to support students as they discover learning through making, problem-solving, and creative risk-taking.

Outside of school, I love spending time at the movies, going for walks, crafting, reading, and relaxing with my husband and our two cats—Bean and Pico. You can also find me making the occasional Target run with a Starbucks in hand or catching up with friends and family!
