Bio

Hi my name is Kristy Movick and I could not be more excited to be teaching at Soaring Heights! I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a BA in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. After graduating, I obtained a MS in Education and Human Development with a concentration in Early Literacy from the University of Colorado Denver. I have taught Second Grade, Fifth Grade, and Technology K-5. I love working with young children, watching them grow academically and socially-emotionally in the classroom. I am originally from California, but I have lived in Colorado the last twenty years, and call it home. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends. My husband and I have two young children, we love to explore the outdoors, camping, biking, paddle boarding, and skiing. When I find alone time, I love to read, cook, bake, and garden.
