My name is Taylor Gasser, or Mrs. G, and I am thrilled to serve Soaring Heights in a new role this year as a special educator on the elementary resource team. Over the last 12 years teaching center-based programs from Seattle to Superior and Erie, I’ve learned one simple truth: every student is capable of incredible progress when they are held to high standards and given the tools they need to succeed.

With a Bachelor’s in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a Master’s in K-12 Special Education from my home state; Ohio, my approach centers heavily on students' use of functional communication, self-advocacy, and individual skill-building in all content areas. I set the bar high because I believe in your student’s potential. I will be in their corner providing the direct support, structure, and accountability they need to clear it.

When I’m not in the classroom, my family and I are out, living actively. Dirt biking, snowboarding, or traveling. My husband and I enjoy tackling home improvement projects, gardening and providing guardrails while our high school freshman navigates life.
