Bio

I am thrilled to be joining the innovation team here at Soaring Heights! I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2012 with an Elementary Education and Special Education degree. Shortly after graduating, I made the move out here to Colorado. Last Fall, I graduated with a masters in Educational Technology. I currently live in Longmont with my husband, Kale (like the vegetable), daughter Emery, and our sweet dog, Bonham. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, hand-lettering, spending time with friends and family, and trying to cook. This will be my 11th year teaching. I have taught second grade and fifth grade. I love encouraging students to be creative, take risks, and find a passion for learning. Soaring Heights has amazing opportunities for students to be innovators and take ownership of their learning and I look forward to creating meaningful partnerships here!
