Bio

I grew up in northern Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Superior. I went to college in Iowa and graduate school at Loyola University of Chicago. I have a Masters in History and started teaching in 2002. I have been married to my partner Rob for fourteen years and we have a biological daughter and adopted son from Haiti. They are the very best things in our lives. We also have a dog, cat, hamster, and several fish. In my free time I really love crafting especially sewing, knitting, and crocheting. I also love to travel, cook, and read. I am so excited to be teaching social studies at Soaring Heights.
