I am so excited to be a part of the Soaring Heights PK-8 community! As an Erie resident myself, I feel so fortunate to work in the community I call home.

I grew up in Castle Rock, CO and I attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA for my undergraduate degree where I received a BA in Psychology. Upon moving back to CO, I completed my masters in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Denver and later received a certificate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, in addition to a Colorado Principal license.

I began teaching in 2016 and have taught Kindergarten, Second and Fifth Grade over the years. I have a special love for primary grades and enjoy seeing young learners grow, both academically and socially.

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our black lab. I enjoy reading, trying my hands at crafts, and exploring all the wonderful things Erie has to offer!
