I am so excited to be joining the Soaring Heights PK-8 community! As an Erie resident myself, I feel so fortunate to work in the community where I live.

I grew up in Castle Rock, CO and have been back in CO since 2015. I attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA for my undergraduate degree where I received a BA in Psychology. While I truly love the Pacific North West, Colorado will always be home! Upon moving back to CO, I completed my masters and licensure program at the University of Denver in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2022 I received a certificate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, as well as my Colorado Principal’s license from DU.

I began teaching in 2016 and have taught Kindergarten, Second and Fifth Grade over the years. I have a special love for primary grades and enjoy seeing our younger learners grow both academically and socially. I am ecstatic to be joining the second grade team this year!

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my husband, our black lab, Lola, and with our family. I love reading, trying my hands at crafts, and exploring all the wonderful things Erie has to offer!
