Bio

I’m honored to be part of the Soaring Heights community, where I serve as the Middle School Choir Accompanist and Paraprofessional. I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Postgraduate Diploma from the Guildhall School of Music in London, and a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music. My career in music education began in 2003, when I became the founding director of the after-school choir at The School (K–8) at Columbia University. Since then, I’ve worked as both a music educator and classroom substitute across a variety of school settings. Outside of school, I continue to perform professionally as both a soloist and ensemble singer. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, son, daughter and our puppy.
