I am very excited to be teaching kindergarten at Soaring Heights PK-8! I grew up in Longmont, Colorado and attended school in the St. Vrain Valley School District. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Liberal Arts, Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Mathematics and obtained my elementary teaching license. After graduating I found my passion in teaching young learners, teaching prekindergarten for three years in Longmont and private kindergarten in Superior for the following five years. My goal as a teacher is to ensure each child is engaged and reaching his or her fullest academic and emotional potential. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my young son, reading, cooking, baking, and spending time outdoors.
