A little about me: I was born in Havana, Cuba and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 8. Spanish is my native language, and I remain fluent in it. I’m happily married, with seven wonderful children and 21 amazing grandchildren. I serve as the kitchen manager and have been at Soaring Heights since it first opened in August 2018. I have been a part of Student Nutrition Services for over 20 years. I truly love what I do—my favorite part of the day is seeing the kids’ smiling faces as they come through the lunch line and knowing I play a small role in helping them make healthy food choices that enhance their well-being and learning. We take great pride in every meal that we serve.
