Growing up among the wheat fields in Kansas, I dreamt of living near the mountains in Colorado! I attended Kansas State University earning a degree in Nutrition and did graduate work at the University of Nebraska, before moving across the country stopping in Utah and California for a few years each. We were finally able to call Colorado home in 1999. All 3 of my children began their educational journey attending preschool at Erie Elementary which was the only elementary and only preschool in Erie at the time! My two oldest children graduated from Erie High School and are now attending CU and the United States Air Force Academy with plans to pursue careers in the field of psychology and aviation.  We are so fortunate to live in the St. Vrain District which prepares and equips our children to be successful with whatever path they choose to pursue in the next chapter of their lives.

Prior to joining the St. Vrain Valley School District in 2013, I worked as a clinical dietician and a children’s clothing store manager. I spent 5 years at Red Hawk Elementary working as an Instructional Paraeducator and Registrar/Attendance Clerk before joining the Soaring Heights team.  I love spending time with my family, hiking and skiing. I am honored to be a part of the opening of Soaring Heights!
