I have been part of the Soaring Heights PK-8 since the building opened. I feel fortunate to be at a school that applies forward-thinking educational theories to everyday practice, such as neuroscience, blended learning, movement, and design thinking. Over the past five years, I have been the Innovation Coordinator, developing and implementing the founding innovation curriculum and programming. The Erie Community has become near and dear to my heart, and I am excited to announce that I serve as the Dean of Students moving forward. I am enthusiastic about helping your child learn, grow and succeed. Background: Experience: 13th year in public education (K-12) High School: Longmont High School Undergraduate: Colorado State University- B.S. in Biological Sciences, B.S. Natural Sciences, Secondary Education Teacher License, Minor in Spanish Graduate: CU Denver- M.A. in Leadership for Educational Organizations, Principal License. Hobbies & Passions: Exploring different parts of the world and cultures, health, exercise, podcasts, live music, staying updated on the latest educational practices, and cutting-edge technology.
