Welcome to elementary music at Soaring Heights! I've been an elementary music teacher for 12 years and I love every minute that I am fortunate enough to work with our young musicians. I earned my bachelor's degree in choral conducting and vocal performance from Oregon State University and my Master's in Music Education at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I have a passion for music education and the relationship between music, science, inquiry, and the vital role that the arts play in the education of our children. My husband and son and I enjoy hiking, cooking, reading, and music-making of all kinds.
