I am very excited to join Soaring Heights this year! After obtaining my Masters in Education from Ohio State University, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where I taught first grade for 4 years. In 2014, I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where I taught first grade for an additional year prior to becoming an instructional coach. As a coach, I provided professional development and supported teachers and grade-level teams in meeting personal and school-wide goals. In 2020, my family and I moved to Erie to be closer to our extended family. I joined Adams 12 Five Star Schools, teaching fifth grade for two years and then special education. This year, I feel very lucky to join my two children at Soaring Heights! My goal as a teacher is to provide meaningful, engaging lessons that meet the needs of each child in my class. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing the piano, and spending time outside with family and friends.
