Bio
It will be an honor to serve the Erie community at the new PK-8 and help build a nurturing and supportive environment for all of our students. I have been a Special Education teacher in Colorado for 8 years.  I am certified to teach Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Special Education K-12 through Black Hills State University.  I also have a Masters in School Counseling from South Dakota State University.  I was born and raised in a small town on the western side of South Dakota, and that is where my family still lives.  My husband, Chase, is a high school administrator, and we have two young boys, Brekkin and Dekker.  We also have two dogs, Ace and Mowgli. When I’m not teaching I enjoy running, reading, and spending as much time playing and having fun with my family as I can!
