- I am super excited to be counseling the elementary school at Soaring Heights. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in 2012 from Metro State University and I received my Master’s Degree in School Counseling at Adams State University in 2019. I am a Colorado Native, born and raised in the Louisville/Superior area. After graduating college, my Husband and I were relocated several times in 9 years. This gave us the opportunity to live in Washington 3 times, Hawaii and Texas before returning back to Colorado in 2022 to be near family. Counseling has always been a passion of mine and I knew I would always end up working with children. Before coming to Soaring Heights, I was a K-12th grade Special Education Counselor. I love to explore social emotional learning in different ways that best fits that student. When not at school, I love spending time with my husband, our two daughters and our two Bernese Mountain Dogs. We enjoy biking, hiking, camping and spending time with family.
