Bio

I am so excited to be teaching at Soaring Heights this year! I am most recently from Mississippi but spent most of my life in South Florida. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Gulf Coast University where I played on the Women's Softball team. My fiance and I just moved to Colorado this summer and are already loving the weather and the views! I'm thrilled to be back teaching 5th grade! I have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade previously. Having a positive classroom environment is super important to me. Students should always feel welcomed and loved in their classroom. I love getting to form connections with students as the year progresses. I am looking forward to a challenging but rewarding year! When not in the classroom, I love to read and complete puzzles. On the weekends, you can find me reading, cooking or at sporting events.
