Bio
I am grateful to be both the Gifted and Talented teacher and English Language Development teacher at Soaring Heights. I strive to create a classroom where students feel comfortable, engaged and valued. I’ve worked in education since 2001 and have enjoyed being a 4th grade teacher, tutor, curriculum writer, and environmental educator. I received my undergraduate degree in English from Indiana University and have a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. Outside of school, I enjoy writing, reading, hiking, camping, and exploring new places. My husband and I have two daughters, and we are happy to be raising our family in Erie.
