I am so excited to be back at Soaring Heights!  What a great school!  This will be my 21st year teaching, all of it in Erie.  I taught at Erie Middle School before joining the team here.  I am originally from Ohio and earned my Bachelor's degree in French and American Literature from Miami University.  After working in a private school for a year in Denver, I realized that teaching was my calling and went to University of Colorado for my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  I also have endorsements in literacy and library science.  

 

Outside of school, I am busy with my own 7th grader and 5th grader.  Their sports keep us busy, but I also love to run, hike, read and travel.  We celebrated my husband's birthday in Barcelona and Paris this summer.
