Bio

I grew up in Denver and graduated with my B.A. in Behavioral Science and Creative Writing from Metropolitan State College of Denver. I began my teaching career in Denver Public Schools and then moved to Boston, MA. In Boston, I had the opportunity to help open two schools, an early elementary school and the Toussaint L’Ouverture Academy, which is the first and only Haitian/Creole Dual Language school in the country. Our family moved back to Colorado last year and I was thrilled to join the Soaring Heights and Erie community as a special education teacher. In my spare time I love reading, getting reacquainted with Colorado, and spending time with my husband and three children.
