I grew up in Denver and graduated with my B.A. in Behavioral Science and Creative Writing from Metropolitan State College of Denver. I began my teaching career in Denver Public Schools and then moved to Boston, MA. In Boston, I had the opportunity to help open two schools, an early elementary school and the Toussaint L’Ouverture Academy, which is the first and only Haitian/Creole Dual Language school in the country. Our family moved back to Colorado a few years ago and I am so happy to be a part of the growing Soaring Heights community. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, crafting, and adventuring with my three children.
