I have been teaching third grade at Soaring Heights since the school’s opening in 2018. It was when I was a third grader that I decided I wanted to become a teacher. I aim to foster a love of learning in my students in the same way that my third-grade teacher did for me! I like to integrate science, social studies, technology, and the arts as much as possible into my classroom.

I have been teaching since 2007. I received my Elementary Teaching Certification and Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Anthropology from CU Boulder, and have a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Regis University. I was also fortunate enough to sail around the world on Semester at Sea through the University of Pittsburgh in 2005.

When I’m not at school, I am probably spending time with my own two children and my husband. We enjoy gardening, crafting, painting, baking, and going on adventures
