Bio
I love teaching Kindergarten at Soaring Heights and being part of such an amazing group of educators! As a Kindergarten teacher, I am dedicated to fostering a safe and creative learning environment for all my students. I have a passion for early childhood education and believe in teaching through hands-on experiences, fostering cooperative learning and providing positive reinforcement. I have been in education for the past 25 years teaching Kindergarten, First Grade and I also spent some years as a 2 year old teacher in a Montessori school when my own children were young. My husband and I have 6 children between us (we're kind of like the Brady Bunch!) and 7 grandchildren...with our youngest child going to be a Senior at Silver Creek HS this fall. I am originally from the south suburbs of Chicago where I lived until 9 years ago when we decided to move to Longmont. I love living in Colorado and try to take full advantage of all the wonderful activities it has to offer!
