- I am very excited to be joining Soaring Heights as a middle school math teacher. I grew up in Louisville, KY and earned degrees in physics at Kenyon College (BA) in Ohio and the University of Wisconsin (MA, PhD) in Madison, WI. Before becoming a math teacher, I worked as a researcher in astrophysics at the University of Toronto. Since moving to Colorado, I have taught middle school math for grades 6 to 8 and technology to grades K to 5 at St. Louis Catholic School in Louisville, as well as teaching 9th grade math at Eagle Ridge Academy in Brighton. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and camping, reading, cross-stitch and crochet.
